Prefab pools in Sparta
Sparta lies in the Evrotas valley, between Mount Taygetus and Mount Parnon, with olive and orange groves around the town.
Summers are very hot and winters colder than on the coast. We build pools across Laconia, as far as Monemvasia and Gythio.
What we watch for in Sparta
- Midday shade: a pergola next to the pool makes July middays bearable, without shading the water in the morning.
- Cool nights in Mystras: at the foot of Taygetus the nights are cool, and a cover holds in the water's heat.
- Stony ground: on the slopes the soil is stony. With 1.10 m panels there is less excavation.
The prefab pool we build
2 mm galvanized steel panels, 1.10 or 1.50 m high, hot-dip galvanized support buttresses and a PVC liner with a 10-year written warranty. Available as a skimmer or overflow pool, and up to 50 m² with a small-scale works approval instead of a building permit. See the sizes.
