Prefab pools on Salamina
Salamina is the island where more Athenians have holiday homes than anywhere else, just a few minutes by ferry from Perama.
In 2024 we built two pools there: a skimmer pool and another prefab pool.
What we watch for on Salamina
- The ferry: materials and crew cross from Perama to Paloukia. We plan around the ferry schedules so construction is not interrupted.
- Water pressure: in parts of the island with low pressure, the first fill is done with a water tanker truck.
- Sunny plots: most holiday homes get sun all day, so the water warms up early.
Our projects on Salamina
The prefab pool we build
2 mm galvanized steel panels, 1.10 or 1.50 m high, hot-dip galvanized support buttresses and a PVC liner with a 10-year written warranty. Available as a skimmer or overflow pool, and up to 50 m² with a small-scale works approval instead of a building permit. See the sizes.

Questions
Can I fill the pool from a water tanker truck?
Yes. At many holiday homes the first fill is done with a water tanker truck, so as not to strain the mains. After that, topping up from the tap is enough.
