Prefab pools on Naxos
Naxos is the largest island in the Cyclades and one of the most fertile, with farming plains, mountain villages and long sandy beaches in the west.
We build pools at homes around Chora, in Agios Prokopios, in Plaka and on estates inland.
What we watch for on Naxos
- Sand from the beaches: in Agios Prokopios and Plaka the wind carries sand. A shower before the pool and a cover keep the filter clean.
- Mountain villages: in Filoti and Apeiranthos the nights are cool and the plots are terraced, so the pool is adapted to the width of the terrace.
- A port open all year: Naxos has frequent ferries from Piraeus and Rafina even in winter, which makes building out of season easier.
The prefab pool we build
2 mm galvanized steel panels, 1.10 or 1.50 m high, hot-dip galvanized support buttresses and a PVC liner with a 10-year written warranty. Available as a skimmer or overflow pool, and up to 50 m² with a small-scale works approval instead of a building permit. See the sizes.

Questions
Does sand from the beach damage the filter?
The sand collects in the filter and is removed with a backwash. With a shower before the pool and a cover when it is windy, the filter needs less attention.
